Contest Statutes - The contest consists of 3 stages and a final battle, which will be held in July, 2009.
- Citizens of Russia and CIS are eligible to take part in the contest. Employees of Sun Microsystems, Inc, may take part in the competition, but they are not eligible for the prize.
- Only one spacecraft from each participant may take part in daily competition at one time.
- The contest participant agrees that his personal data, namely, his/her name and address and email address, may be processed, stored or used for contest goals, as well as for other goals, specified in the abovementioned rules.
- Presenting false information, lack of contact information, or contest rules violation will result in participant's dismissal.
N.B. - If the potential winner (ranking leader in a contest stage, not a Sun employee) has not responded to Sun Microsystems within 15 days of receiving notification, he will not get his prize.
- Having agreed to receive the prize, the winner agrees that Sun Microsystems SPB, LLC and its affiliates may use his name and photo for contest promotion/marketing at no cost, if otherwise not specified by national legislation.
- All tax duties, to be paid according to Russian legislation, are determined and paid in accordance with Russian legislation.
- Sun Microsystems SPB, LLC may publish submitted algorithms (source code and compiled version) in contest information materials.
